- Indianapolis Indians Game
Enjoy some good, old-fashioned baseball with your family at Victory Field watching the Indianapolis Indianas. This minor league baseball team features up and coming talent in baseball.
- Indianapolis Motor Speedway
You’ve probably heard of the Indy 500 race, but did you know that the Indianapolis Motor Speedway features a museum where you can learn about Indy 500 racing history? If you go in the spring before the race, odds are you will probably be able to catch a practice or qualifications too!
- Pedal Boat Down the Canal
The canal downtown Indianapolis is a nice place to discover the city and get some exercise. If you would like, you can even pedal boat down the canal and explore downtown Indy from the water.
- Indianapolis Museum of Art
Visit the Indianapolis Museum of Art and be inspired by art throughout the ages. Located downtown Indy, you can plan your museum visit to coincide with with a walk along the canal or a pedal boat rid down the canal.
- Explore Mass Ave.
Mass. Ave. features art, entertainment, and food. The stores and restaurants on Mass. Ave. are locally owned operated businesses.
- Conner Prairie
Step back in time at Conner Prairie and experience Indiana in the year 1836. Enjoy exploring the pioneer village and talking with the historical re-enactors dressed and in character as if they were living in the year 1836.
- Indiana State Museum
This museum, like the Indianapolis Museum of Art, is also located downtown. Visit the Indiana State Museum and learn about the state of Indiana and it’s history.
- Tour Benjamin Harrison’s House
While in Indy, be sure to visit the Benjamin Harrison house. This is the home where Benjamin Harrison lived before and after becoming president of the United States.
